We’re getting some great feedback on Disconnected Vol. 1 and Lost: Boys, the two comics we launched at Bristol Comic Expo (feels like decades ago, but it’s less than a month).

Thanks to Linsay Powell at Comics Anonymous for her review of Lost: Boys, which has made me (Lizzie) blush like a girl. She said:

The Lost: Boys anthology has raised the bar for modern anthologies. Each page and panel within shows such deliberation that it’s impossible not to immediately take notice of Disconnected Press and seek out these individual creators’ other work. This is an emotive and sensitive anthology that will be well worth your time in seeking out.

You can read the full review at http://comicsanonymous.wordpress.com/2012/06/03/disconnected-press-lost-boys/

Or see what the fuss is about by ordering Lost: Boys here.

We’ve been told to expect reviews from Geek Syndicate, Starburst and Small Press Big Mouth in the near future. If you haven’t heard it yet, you can hear Lizzie being interviewed by SPBM’s Stacey Whittle here (starts about halfway through the file, but it’s worth listening to the lovely boys from Improper Books too!).

As for the retailer, we’re delighted to say that Automattic Comics in Corsham now has a small but perfectly formed stock of both Disconnected and Lost: Boys. So if you’re in Wiltshire, or passing through on the M4, stop in, say hello to the lovely Matt, say nice things about Boba Fett, and buy our comics!
